Discovery Process
Each color consultation begins with a discovery conversation or questionnaire. This helps your color consultant understand what you like and dislike and make sure your tastes can be pinpointed as you get into color selection. We’ll want to take this opportunity to take a walk around your home and make sure we’re accounting for each element and feature.
Develop a Color Palette
When working with exterior paint colors you’re usually selecting a minimum of two to three colors, depending on the style of your home. You want to make sure these colors work together and create a sense of balance and harmony while still expressing your own style. Your color consultant should be able to provide you with some color options and palette recommendations before they leave your appointment.
Expert Knowledge
Working with a color professional gives you access to a number of color resources and their own expertise. A color consultant can assist you with choose paint colors that will suit the style of your home, work together, and capture your personal taste.
Test Your Colors
As part of your premium color consultation package, we’ll order and ship samples directly to your home. Seeing your colors in person is critical to selecting colors you’ll enjoy for the long term so you can also save time and go to your local paint store for samples.
Follow Up
Once your consultation is complete don’t worry about being left high and dry. Your color consultant will be available via call, text, or email for additional questions and support.

Discovery Process
The first step when it comes to choosing the best paint colors for your space is taking a walk through your space and understanding what you like and don’t like, which fixed features or furniture needs to be accounted for, and get some inspiration. From there, your consultant will dig in to uncover what your vision is and the atmosphere you’re looking to create.
Develop a Color Palette
We are firm believers that there are no perfect colors, but that there are a number of colors that would look incredible. Once we have an understanding of what you’re looking for, your expert color consultant will work with you to recommend different color options. Your color consultant should be able to provide you with color options and palette recommendations before they leave your appointment.
Expert Knowledge
When you work with one of our consultants you gain access to a number of color tools as well as the consultants’ own expertise. This helps take into account color theory, the psychology of color, and current trends when you’re deciding on paint colors.
Test Your Colors
Before you can begin your painting project, we highly recommend testing your colors out and reviewing them throughout the day under different lighting. To help you confirm your colors, your color consultant will order samples of your colors that will be delivered right to your door!
